The Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project involves adding a three-berth container terminal on approximately 320 acres of newly created land through an expansion of the existing causeway, home to the existing GCT Deltaport container terminal. This new container superport will increase the Port of Vancouver's container-handling capacity by approximately 50%, supporting over $100 billion in additional trade capacity annually upon completion in the mid-2030s, contributing over $3 billion to Canada's economy each year, and sustaining approximately 17,000 jobs once operating.
