Description | Indore Development Authority (IDA) is preparing a new flyover at Robot Square intersection on Ring Road, Indore. The flyover will be 525 meters long, structured into two arms with separate lanes on either side to accommodate a central metro rail track, similar to the Khajrana flyover design. The project aims to ease daily traffic congestion for approximately 2 lakh commuters, reducing delays of 15 to 30 minutes during peak hours. The flyover will be built within the existing green corridor, requiring removal of hundreds of mature trees. The detailed project report (DPR) is currently being drafted following a completed feasibility survey. |
