The gondola cabins are designed to fly above the canopy to minimize tree removal. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion and provide a scenic six-minute ride up the mountain. The project cost is estimated between $30 million and $40 million. Construction could start as early as January 2027, pending approvals from Walker County and Lookout Mountain officials. |
