Description

Description

The Rogers Bridge Road Mulit-Use Trail begins on the east side of Rogers Bridge Road at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and extends northerly to its terminus at the approach to the existing Rogers Bridge superstructure over the Chattahoochee River. The project would construct a 5 foot wide sidewalk with the existion ROW on the eastern side of Rogers Bridge road, between PIB and the private drive north of Spring Cove Drive. The sidewalk would replace an exisitng 4 foot wide sidewalk along this section of the roadway. North of Spring Cove Drive to the existing bridge the 4 foot sidewalk would be replaced by a 10 foot multi-use path. This part of the project will also be within exisiting ROW. The multi-use trail will also tie to other Duluth and Gwinnett multi-use projects. A seperate TEA project is underway to upgade the bridge structure for pedestrian travel.
