Rooibos Seeds Launch to International Space Station

planned

The Rooibos in Space programme will launch Rooibos seeds to the International Space Station (ISS) where they will be exposed to microgravity and space radiation for several weeks. Upon return, the seeds will be planted alongside identical seeds that never left Earth to compare growth and stress resistance. The project involves pupils from seven schools in the Cederberg area and local farmers, aiming to inspire young scientists and contribute to agricultural and space research.
