Description | The Route 11 Upgrade Project involves work over two distinct sections (the Components) of Route 11 located between the Municipalities of Shediac and Bouctouche. Component 1: This approximately 6.8km section of Route 11 from Southside of Shediac River to Southside of Cocagne River is a new construction project and will include the capacity upgrade from two to four lanes and highway safety enhancement by median division of opposing lanes, along with highway rehabilitation upgrades to the existing Route 11 lanes. Component 2: This approximately 13.8 km section of Route 11 from Southside of Cocagne River to Southside of Little Bouctouche River includes a combination of approximately 9.3km of capacity upgrade from two to four lanes and highway safety enhancement by median division of opposing lanes, along with highway rehabilitation upgrades to the existing Route 11 lanes. |
