Route 5 Los Vilos - La Serena section Modernization

The project involves developing a 245 km total extension road in Route 5 Los Vilos—La Serena, which starts in the north of Los Vilos and ends in its interurban section south of Coquimbo, Chile.Different types of works are proposed for the interurban section, including updates, treatment of slopes, widening of platform, rectification of geometric layout, new structures, service streets, pedestrian walkways, etc. The urban road will have an express route of three tracks in each direction and service streets on both sides, pedestrian walkways for pedestrian cross connection, sidewalks, and street furniture.
