Description | The project involves final paving work on Route 72, Barnegat Avenue, and Central Avenue in Ship Bottom, New Jersey. It includes widening about 3,000 feet of Route 72 and three cross streets, restoring two-way traffic along Central Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard, reconstructing five traffic signals, installing a new traffic signal at 8th Street and Long Beach Boulevard, and installing a new storm drainage system to reduce flooding. The project also improved safety and reduced congestion in Stafford at the Marsha Drive and Route 72 intersection by widening Marsha Drive and adding lanes on Route 72. |
