Description | The Project includes installing new water mains at the end of Port Anson Road and on Rowsell’s Point Road. The Project will involve the construction of 680 meters of new water mains including services, hydrants, and road reinstatement as required. The Town has been working to upgrade their water distribution system to a new system that meets design codes and will allow them to have fire flows within Town. This is the final phase of the project. There was an active Boil Water Advisory in areas of the Town from 2006 until 2020, this advisory has now been lifted. The aim of the project is to provide residents with clean drinking water and have sufficient main pressure to fight fires. |
