The Halifax Tars Rugby Football Club is seeking to build a Community clubhouse/change room facility at Graves Oakley Field in Spryfield, Nova Scotia. The project consists of a comprehensive plan to make recreation land more accessible and usable to the broader community by adding a two level building with 4 changing rooms on the ground floor, along with public washrooms and washrooms within the changing rooms, and a meeting/banquet facility on the top floored with a circumferential deck suitable for viewing events on the rugby/soccer fields and the softball/baseball fields. The building will be accessible via an internal elevator to make sure participants and guests with disabilities are accommodated. The project aims to build inclusivity in the community and provide a focal point for outdoor activity, community meetings, individual and group fitness, and sports gatherings and tournaments.
