Description | The project involves design, construction and operation of Rumichaca-Pasto 4G Toll Road - an 84-km corridor of a dual-carriage highway in southwestern Colombia from the city of Pasto to Ipiales in western Colombia on the border of Ecuador. The project includes expansion of an existing single-carriage corridor to a dual-carriage highway, and construction of 27km of new highway, pursuant to a 29-year concession agreement with the Republic of Colombia. The SPV Concesionaria Vial Union del Sur SAS is owned by Sacyr Concesiones Colombia SAS (60%) and Herdoiza Crespo Construcciones Colombia SAS (40%). The project cost is approximately $ 773 million. Debt financing in the amount of COP 1.8 trillion ($575 million) has been secured from Overseas Private Investment Corporation ($200 million), JP Morgan, Metlife USA, Santander, Spanish Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), SMBC, MUFG, Crédit Agricole and Bank of China.
