The Rural Infrastructure Program Phase III - RIP III aims to sustainably improve the rural population's year-round access to markets, central locations and social facilities and their use by the target group through investments in rural transport infrastructure. In addition, the financing of central markets is intended to improve the marketing opportunities for rural products (outcome). This is intended to contribute to economic and social development and to poverty reduction among the rural population in the program regions (impact). The program includes the expansion and rehabilitation of rural roads and the construction of markets. The required FC volume for the program period is EUR 4.0 million for investment measures. The program sponsor is making a contribution of EUR 0.4 million.
