Economic/Social Impact of the Project The local youths of Sikkim are multi talented and have the calibre to be employed in variety of entrepreneurship activities such as food processing, floriculture, animal husbandry activities, bakery products, meat processing, tailoring, wood carving, IT and IT enabled services, readymade garments, handicrafts, hospitality sectors, rural Home stays, film production etc These entrepreneurs are to be provided with financial assistance at nominal interest and technical guidance. The goods and services produced by the entrepreneurs can be marketed in domestic and international market. Revenue is expected in both by extending credit support to entrepreneurs and marketing the goods and services produced by the entrepreneurs in national and international market.
