Description | The Clearing the Path (CTP) Grid Road 753 Bridge Project is located at SW 05-36-01 W2 and is a crossing for the Swan River. The project scope entails dismantling and disposal of existing structure, installation of a new substructure and superstructure, and the construction of bridge abutments and approaches. The project is located on an existing road alignment which is owned and controlled by the Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333. This bridge is located on the Rural Municipality of Clayton’s Clearing the Path Primary Grid Road 753 therefore is essential to the municipality and the region as well. This CTP road links the rural municipalities of Clayton No. 333, Preeceville No. 334 and Livingston No. 331 and directs traffic through these municipalities and into Manitoba. This infrastructure will be utilized by the following groups: Peat Moss Plant operated by Sunterra Horticulture Agriculture including Ag Terminals and businesses Logging and forestry industry in the Porcupine Provincial Forest Recreation and hunting industry because the region is in close proximity to crown land and a provincial forest reserve Residents and other businesses |
