Description
Description | The main objective of the project is to decommission and close the existing 150.2 acre landfill site. The project scope includes environmental site assessment studies, ESA I and II, corrective action plan, and providing final cover for the landfill. Following project completion, a portion of the site will return to native pasture land. The Rural Municipality Community Pasture is adjacent to the existing landfill site and will be joined with a portion. The remaining portion will be used to house a garbage bin and a single stream recycle bin rented from Triways Disposal. Triways Disposal will haul the garbage to the Swift Current Landfill and will recycle the recyclable items accordingly. |
