Russian Subterranean Pipeline Ambush near Kupyansk

completed

Russian forces used an extensive Soviet-era underground pipeline network to conduct a subterranean ambush operation near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The operation involved traveling approximately 13 kilometers under the Oskil River using carts and electric scooters to move troops secretly. The pipeline network was partially destroyed and flooded by Ukrainian forces to thwart the attack.
