Rutledge Park Playground, Splash Pad & Washroom

The project will rejuvenate an existing park and playground in the city of Saanich, as well as add a new splash pad for children, and a washroom with change facilities. This project will provide new community infrastructure for the local community and citizens of greater Victoria. The original concept plan for Rutledge Park included a splash pad for children and due to budget constraints has never been realized. The city of Saanich has done significant community consultation including engaging the students in the local elementary school and this playground is the result of their research. The design also incorporates park history (Rutley the pink elephant, circa the 1970s). The project works will include: - playground; - splash pad; - washroom/changeroom building; - mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and, - related works.
