Rwanda - Private Sector Capacity Building Project

The Rwanda Private Sector Capacity Building Project aims to contribute to a capacitated Rwanda Private Sector Federation (RPSF) and an empowered private sector to play a lead role in increased growth and sustainable development. This project seeks to strengthen the RPSF to be a catalytic organization in the private sector development, with a private sector seen as the real engine of economic growth. The project comprises four main components, namely: (i) strengthening of the human and institutional capacity of RPSF; (ii) building competitiveness of SMEs and MSSEs (Empowering SME's increasing their competitiveness through skills upgrade); (iii) strengthening of the Interface Framework for engagement with the public and private sector; and (iv) professionalization of the voices of SME's, their actions and interventions in public policy processes, and their partnerships with the State.
