RWE and ASML Long-term Wind Energy Supply Agreement

RWE AG, a German energy company, has renewed and expanded its long-term wind energy supply deal with semiconductor industry leader ASML. The agreement increases the contracted renewable capacity to approximately 130 megawatts and extends through 2038. The electricity will be sourced from a diverse portfolio of wind facilities including offshore generation from Belgium's Northwester 2 wind farm and several onshore and offshore facilities in the Netherlands. A key project in the portfolio is the OranjeWind offshore project, a collaborative venture between RWE and TotalEnergies with a planned capacity of 795 MW, expected to be fully operational by 2028.
