Description | Cheniere has started planned maintenance at its Sabine Pass LNG export facility in Louisiana. The maintenance includes an outage at the Gillis compressor station on the Cheniere Creole Trail Pipeline, expected to last 22 days from May 31 to June 22, 2025. Sabine Pass is the largest operational LNG export plant in the US with a capacity of about 30 mtpa. Cheniere also plans to expand the plant with the Sabine Pass Stage 5 expansion project, which includes two liquefaction trains adding up to 20 mtpa capacity, with a final investment decision expected in late 2026 or 2027. |
