Description | The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to begin construction of a 700-metre-long six-lane underpass at Sadahalli in northern Bengaluru. The project aims to remove the only traffic signal between Hebbal and Kempegowda International Airport, improving traffic flow. The underpass will be about six metres below road level and will include drainage, a median strip, and landscaping. Construction will use the cut-and-cover method for approximately 50 metres, and four service lanes will be added on each side of the highway to ease congestion during construction. |
