Project Summary SAFE project aims (a) at develop, design and test an innovative Model of Child (6-18) Protection Policy applied to Futsal Clubs’ enviroment, and (b) at form their staff members. LAZIOcrea S.p.A., Coordinator, will handle all management issues, Model’s design activities and will take care of Futsal related issues (including Advocacy ones). Lazio Region will take care of promoting the Model at local, regional, national and Europea level. Objectives -Child (6-18) Safeguarding Policy Model – applied to Futsal sector – designed and validated, for preventing child from being abused and / or harmed -Sports organizations, relevant stakeholders and Public Institutions sensitized on the need for more effective child protection measures, offering a new replicable Model Activities -Design and testing of the Model (including a special part tailored on intellectual-disabled children) -Training of Futsal Clubs’ staff members -Dissemination, Advocacy and Networking activities Type and number of persons benefiting directly and indirectly from the project -Direct: 30 Clubs’ staff members and 2 regional and national Futsal Division’s staff members; ; 100 (80 able-bodied, 20 intellectual-disabled) children (6-18) -Indirect:100 families Expected results -“SAFE-Policy” Model validated -“SAFE-Policy” Model adopted by at least 6 Lazio Region’s Futsal Clubs -7 Training Modules (of 3 hours each) realised -32 persons trained -Awareness of the risks that the lack of child safeguarding policies implies increased -New, innovative and replicable Model validated for approaching this issue Type and number of deliverables to be produced -Analytic activities: 1 risk assessment report; 1 “SAFE-Policy” Model; 1 Final Brochure; -Training activities: 1 Formative Plan; Assessment, Evaluation and Check Tests; -Awareness raising, networking and dissemination: 1 Futsal event; 1 international and 3 national events; 6 roundtables; 10 thematic tables; 10 meetings with experts
