Objectives INACH aims at promoting and protecting fundamental rights as enshrined in the Charter by combating hate speech online. We work prevent and combat cyber hate, i.e., racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and other forms of intolerance disseminated online. INACH unites and empowers organisations that are active against discrimination online. Activities Activities will be based on coordinating the monitoring activities of the EC to check the adherence of social media to the Code of Conduct, empower our members and experts NGOs to monitor online hate more effectively by providing them with legal aid and mental health services, facilitate the rollout of the new DSA-based trusted flagger system with different fora, provide policy input, and conduct advocacy efforts to enhance cooperation with IT companies and regulators. INACH will continue its awareness raising efforts and distribute knowledge and exchange best practices. Type of persons benefiting from the activities The FPA benefits decision makers on national and EU level, educators, NGOs, Trusted Flaggers, prospective trusted flaggers, Digital Services Coordinators, regulators, CSOs, social media and the general public. Expected results Results will be more effective monitoring of online hate, enhanced financial and legal security of CSOs in the field, a stricter adherence to the Code of Conduct by social media, gaining more knowledge on cyber hate, and a smoother rollout of the trusted flagger system. Our advocacy efforts will facilitate more cooperation between social media, expert CSOs and regulators to enforce the DSA more effectively.
