"A project will be operated by the Lithuanian Centre of Non-Formal Youth Education in cooperation with the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania, non-profit organization ""Child Line"" and association ""Langas i ateiti"". The project aims to present the Lithuanian population, especially children, parents, and teachers, with solutions to prevent potential harms coming from the abuse of internet technologies such as adult content, negative habits, or demotivation; to provide online safety information, educational resources, public awareness tools and counseling and reporting services through dedicated helpline and hotline. The project will implement the following 3 activities of Safer Internet Centre (SIC): - Awareness raising; - Hotline; - Helpline. Overall, the activities performed by the SIC will help children and those closest to their environment to tackle online risks and to become media literate, resilient digital citizens, and will allow citizens to anonymously report online child sexual abuse material (CSAM)."
