Sagamore Bridge Replacement Project

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is planning to replace the Sagamore Bridge. A public design hearing will be held to present details on the proposed Sagamore Bridge design, expected impacts, right-of-way, construction approaches, detours, traffic management during construction, and next steps. The hearing will also provide a brief update on the status of the Bourne Bridge. Additionally, MassDOT has created a design for bicycle and pedestrian travel on the Canal Service Road during the construction of the new Sagamore Bridge to ensure safe travel routes around the construction zone.
