This is an advisory services project aimed at supporting and advising FI’s and strategic partners in the Sahel region on delivery of relevant NFS to MSMEs. It will leverage IFCs existing NFS and skills development solutions to meet the needs of FI’s and their MSMEs customers. The project will comprise two activities that will enable FI’s and strategic partners to offer NFS to immediately support MSMEs in the Sahel region and will comprise components that will create awareness for the benefits of NFS among FIs and strategic partners, and disseminate knowledge on best practices: These include Partner identification and awareness creation on the benefits of NFS in each of the targeted countries and delivery of workshops on business management with a focus on financial management and digitization. All this is aimed at building the skills of MSMEs to help them become bankable, and supporting the FI's to serve their MSME clients better and improve their chances of accessing finance.
