The trial is supported by UK Government ZEHID funding. Gridserve is installing four 350 kW chargers on site, capable of charging each eHGV to 80% in 90 minutes and to full capacity in under two hours, enabling two delivery cycles per vehicle per day. The fleet is expected to complete around 12,000 deliveries to more than 50 regular UK construction and merchant customers, providing real-world data on all-electric heavy freight operations. |
