The project involves the construction of the Sajoma Solar Plant, located in Santiago, Dominican Republic. It will have a capacity of 80MW and will also include a substation and a 14.6 km transmission line to connect the project to the grid. Once operational, the plant is expected to generate around 148 GWh per year. The sponsor is domestic power producer Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina SA (EGE Haina), a mixed comany (50% public - 50% private).
