Salamanca Sewer System Capital Improvement Project

The City of Salamanca plans a sewer system capital improvement project involving reconstruction and replacement of various components of the sanitary system, primarily focusing on inflow and infiltration improvements. The project includes reconstruction or replacement of manholes with bench reform, cementitious and epoxy lining, frame and cover improvements, replacement of two pumps at one lift station, and reconstruction or replacement of approximately 12,000 linear feet of sewer main. The city intends to apply for grant funds through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation's Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA) program.
