Description | The City of Salem is undertaking a valve replacement project impacting transmission mains that bring water from the Salem-Beverly Water Supply Board's treatment plant in Beverly to Salem residents. The valve work, particularly at the intersection of North Street and Federal Street, has caused temporary discolored water due to changes in water flow direction and speed disturbing mineral sediments.
