Description | The Salerno–Reggio Calabria high-speed rail project involves the construction of a high-speed rail line connecting southern Italy with the rest of the country and Europe. The first tunnel, excavated using the tunnel boring machine Mireille, was completed on April 10, 2026, marking a major milestone in the project. |
