The project includes a 60,000 square-foot convention center repurposed from the former JCPenney space, a new hotel attached to the convention center, a golf attraction, renovation of the AMC Theatres with state-of-the-art recliners and sound system, a family entertainment center with sand volleyball, and four to five new restaurants. The project aims to increase mall traffic to 4 million visitors per year and involves securing public incentives such as STAR bonds and other local and state economic incentives. |
