Salmon Arm - Shaw Centre Heat Recovery and Air Handling Upgrade

The proposed project at the existing Salmon Arm Shaw Centre recreation complex will recover waste heat from arena refrigeration for use in space heating and ventilation. The project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by improving building energy efficiency and will improve indoor air quality. The project works will include: - refrigeration plant heat recovery equipment; - expansion of existing medium-temperature glycol loop; - two replacement high-efficiency make-up air units; and - mechanical, electrical, control/monitoring, signage, and other related works and appurtenances.
