The first Hillstate in the Gangnam areaSamseong-dong Hillstate is Hyundai E&C’s first brand launch of Hillstate in the Gangnam area, the district south of the Hangang River. Korea’s primary builder reconstructed Yeongdong AID Apartment to build Samseong-dong Hillstate consisting of 29 apartment buildings of 23 floors above ground and two basement levels. Samseong-dong Hillstate provides a total of 2,070 household units whose sizes range from 41 to 143 square meters.Hyundai E&C sought differentiation in the exterior of the apartment complex. Granite was utilized in the lower part of the apartment buildings, and the use of pilotis on the first floor added the luxurious touch to the exterior design. Unique and refined decorative structures were installed in the upper parts of tower-type and flat-type apartment buildings.Well-being in urban lifeSamseong-dong Hillstate boasts of its landscape architecture. The landscape area accounts for about 40 percent of the site area. Even though the apartment complex is located in the busy center of the Gangnam area bragging about prestigious schools, and convenient transportation as a perfect place for businesses, it features eco-friendly elements. A wide range of trees and flowers are planted in every corner of the apartment complex, which reminds the residents of a botanical garden in a city. The apartment is dotted with giant trees such as 25-meter pine trees and nettle trees from Jeju Island.There is also enough water to enjoy. The residents can enjoy wall fountains in different sizes streaming around the clock and the 50-meter stream water. Children can play and run on the ground fountain.Moreover, Hyundai E&C came up with environment-friendly energy systems. The pergola for solar lightings is based on the carbon-free design to change solar energy into electricity used for illuminations during the night. Under the excellent recycling system, rainwater is recycled to water plants. The bamboo trail, the maple tunnel and the playground with weathervanes serve as pleasant rest areas for the residents.
