The mission aims to increase annual exploratory wells to over 100, including 25 deepwater wells and 40 stratigraphic wells, with a total committed investment of approximately $20 billion. It targets frontier offshore basins such as the Krishna-Godavari Basin, Andaman Sea Basin, Mahanadi Basin, Kutch Basin, and Mumbai Offshore region to reduce India's crude oil import dependency and enhance energy sovereignty. |
