This does not include an additional 8.8 gigawatts in feasibility studies and 9.5 gigawatts in early interest stages. The utility is updating its long-term $14 billion generation plan to accommodate this rapid growth, focusing on smaller, competitive generation deals and forming agreements to recover costs if projects do not use all requested energy. |
