The project company signed a power purchase agreement to sell electricity to the national grid. The investment in the power plant was estimated at 76.7 million. In November 2012, the IIC approved a financing package for the project consisting of a US$ 10 million A-loan and a US$ 26.4 million B-loan. In March 2013, CAF announced the approval of a US$ 25 million loan to the project. In 2012, the sponsor applied for carbon credit. Commercial operations were expected to begin in March 2015.
