San Diego Pure Water Phase Two Project

re-evaluation/planning

The project involves the second phase of San Diego's Pure Water sewage recycling system, which aims to produce purified water from sewage using a new direct potable reuse (DPR) method. This phase could be smaller and more cost-efficient than initially planned due to new state regulations and lower water demand. The project includes building a purification plant in Mission Valley and potentially avoiding costly pipelines and reservoir storage.
