The project entails improving the efficiency and volumes of the loads that are currently handled in San Lorenzo port, located in the south of Honduras on the Pacific coast, in the department of Valle, including bulk liquid, solid, cargo in containers, new vehicles, and merchandise), in addition to expanding and diversifying port services.The works envisaged include the development of modern port infrastructure, particularly the restructuring of the current terminal to generate new specialized spaces for all types of cargoes that are handled in the port, as well as the improvement of equipment and the level of port service, particularly the development of specialized equipment for each type of cargo operation carried out in the port, facilitating the growing trend of increasing traffic of containers, general cargo, vehicles and bulk.
