The scope of the project will include replacement of the existing 300 water main on Sandbanks with a new pre-insulated water main and the 62 existing services at 2.0m depth. The existing water main is approximately 3 feet below the existing sanitary sewer. The project aims to protect the community’s potable water by addressing the issue of leaks and avoiding any risks of any contamination by the existing sanitary sewer in future. |
