Sandora Limited Liability Company (Sandora) is the leading manufacturer of branded packaged juices, baby foods and juice drinks in Ukraine. Sandora was established in 1995 and today produces a wide range of natural juices, nectars and fruit drinks from locally grown fruits and vegetables (e.g. carrot, plum, strawberry, apricot, peach and apple) and imported concentrates (e.g. orange, pineapple) under several well-established brands. Sandora’s project objectives in general are oriented toward improving local fruit procurement, expanding puree production and juice varieties and improving product quality. The company has requested IFC’s assistance to provide long-term financing to support its investment and growth plan, which includes the following components: - expansion of the company’s existing juice packing factory in Mykolayiv; - modernization of a recently acquired fruit processing puree plant in Simeropol (Crimea); and - provision of working capital.
