Twin the gravity sewer from Hope St. to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to mitigate-by-pass during wet weather events. 660m of sanitary sewer twinning on Hope St. South/Lake Street from Shutter Street to east end of energy service company site (ESCO); 490m of sanitary sewer twinning on the easement through ESCO; 300m of sanitary sewer twinning north of Lake Street from Daylighting of Sewer to STP Headworks. The Sanitary Sewer Twinning project is located on Lake Street, commencing at Hope Street and extending to the Sewage Treatment Plant. The proposed alignment of the pipe and associated length of pipe has slightly changed from the original submission. The project now includes the installation of approximately 575m of 450mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer, 575m of 600mm diameter PVC sewer, concrete maintenance holes, connections to the existing system, by-pass sewer pumping, and approximately 330m of 600mm diameter above grade steel pipe construction including support piers and various other field connections.
