Description | The project involves the development and improvement of water and sanitation services for urban areas in all 16 municipalities of Amapá state, Brazil. One of the goals is to reduce the water loss rate, which exceeds now 70%.In the state of Amapá, the treated water reaches only 34.9% of the population, while just 7.1% has sewage collection systems. At the end of the concession period, the project is expected to provide piped water to 285,000 consumer units and sewage collection to 328,000 units. |
