Description | The project involves ongoing maintenance work on sanitation infrastructure in the governorates of Jendouba, Siliana, and Kef, as well as in several delegations between Tabarka, Tinja, and Beni Mtir. It includes treatment plants purifying about one million cubic meters of wastewater per day, aiming to reuse 26% of treated water in agricultural and industrial sectors. The project also seeks funding through public-private partnerships and has an agreement with seven banks to open financing lines totaling 20 million dinars for electricity production from waste and converting waste into fuel for cement plants. |
