This project involves the expansion of water supply and sewage in 93 municipalities in the state of Paraiba, Brazil. The municipalities are split into two parts; the first contains the micro-region Alto Piranhas, in the hinterland: comprising 38 municipalities, with 444,278 inhabitants and the second block has the Litoral micro-region, around João Pessoa: comprising 55 municipalities, with 1,844,817 inhabitants.The project will be structured around the main lines of universalizing the service in the shortest time possible and maximizing the number of municipalities and people served. The project is expected to increase water supply coverage by 22% and sewage coverage by 54%, which will benefit 2.26 million people in the state.
