The proposed investment consists of a senior, secured debt financing package arranged by IFC for an aggregate amount of up to US$150 million or its EUR equivalent (the IFC Financing) to the following three companies in Turkiye: (i) Sanko Tekstil Isletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Sanko Tekstil) – a vertically integrated premium yarn manufacturer; (ii) Super Film Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Super Film) – an export-oriented flexible packaging manufacturer; and (iii) Cimko Cimento ve Beton San. Tic. A.S. (Cimko) – a leading local cement manufacturer (together, the Project Companies). The IFC Financing will partially finance (i) the construction of a ring spinning mill to be certified as a green building and a recycling facility with roof-top solar panel installations at Sanko Tekstil; (ii) the construction of a greenfield plant to be certified as a green building at Super Film, (iii) several energy efficiency and renewable energy investments at Cimko; and (iv) some earthquake recovery investments by the Project Companies (the Project).
