Description | This project involves the construction of Santa Rosa and Villa Sol solar PV plants, located in El Salvador. The planned capacity of both Santa Rosa and Villa Sol solar PV plants combined is 21.07MW. Total project cost is $25.3m, of which $18.97m are provided by a 15-year loan from Banco Agricola (subsidiary of BanColombia), while the remaining $6.33m is equity provided by the sponsor - MPC Energy Solutions. A 20 year PPA has been signed with a local subsidiary of AES Corporation - CAESS. EPC contractor for this project is the Spanish multinational Enerland Group. The financial close date is January 11th, 2022.
