Construction works commenced in 2006 and were concluded in March 2012. The investment directed to the power plant as estimated at US$ 36 million. The power plant was set to sell its output through Guatemala's national grid (Sistema Nacional Interconectado). In January 2007, the project applied for carbon credit. |
