The sponsors of this initiative are the Brazilian companies BRF and AES Brasil. The special purpose vehicle for the project is Ventos de Santa Tereza 1 Energias Renováveis S.A. The planned generation capacity is 39.9 MW. The total project cost is $53.47 million (R$266.14 million), with $28.73 million (R$143 million) provided as a loan from Santander Bank and the remaining $24.7 million secured through a bond issuance arranged by Santander Bank.
