Description | The project involves the design, development, construction and operation of a 50 MW solar power plant in the Santo Antonio de Guerra area in the Dominican Republic. The sponsor is Dominion and the total project cost is around $ 78 million. Construction start was announced on 28 February 2019 and the ceremony took place on 22 February 2019. The President of the National Energy Commission (CNE) of the Dominican Republic Mr Angel Canó was present, as well as the Executive Vice-president of the Dominican Corporation of State Electricity Companies Mr Rubén Bichara.
